Description

My OC for :iconendling:'s OC tourney. Call him Captain for now, since that's his rank.

Normal Stats:
Height: 5'10''
Weight: 168 lb
2 Miles: 11 min
Max Speed: 20.33 mph
Benchpress: 320 lb
Pushups: 83 in 2 min
Situps: 104 in 2 min
Pullups: 34
Standardized Test Score (Out of 3000): 2680

And now with the Exoskeleton:
Height: 7'2''
Weight: 822 lb
4 Miles: 6 min
Max Speed: 40 mph
Benchpress: 1600 lb
Bodyweight exercises are indefinite, as the exoskeleton can keep on working as long as the parts function and the juice doesn't run out.
Standardized Test Score: still 2680

Basically, he's a guy wearing big, robotic, exoskeletal armor, which allows him to run faster, jump long distances with assistance from thrusters in the legs and backpack, lift trucks with the armor's strength, withstand crippling assaults, wield multiple weapons with the extra arms, and store a crap load of stuff in the backpack. The backpack has a compartment connected to hammerspace, so he can pull out whatever he wants whenever he wants, provided he first took the time and effort to stick it in hammerspace in the first place and it fits through the opening.

The armor is composed of multiple layers. The first and outermost layer lines the exterior of the exoskeleton, which is made from (taking some liberties here, since he, theoretically, is from a futuristic setting, where I assume metallurgy has advanced farther than present day) a military grade alloy which is relatively light, strong, rather dense, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, and hard, meaning non-ductile. Kinda like what you'd get from a titanium-tungsten composite I guess, but stronger. The inner layer consists of basically a softer but denser alloy. It also houses any necessary cabling and machinery/components. The exoskeleton is worn like a suit but supports itself, for most humans wouldn't be able to support the immense weight.

A special suit is worn when utilizing the exoskeleton. The material of this "pilot suit" is made of a lightweight but sturdy fiber stronger than kevlar and contains several plugs which connect to the exoskeleton and interface the "pilot" with it. There are more details, but these are the basics for now. The suit's actually sturdy enough to serve as individual battle armor; however, its main purpose is to effectively allow the "pilot" to control the exoskeleton as if it were simply an extension of his/her body, and it's rather expensive compared to the battle armor used by basic non-mechanized infantry.

His main weapon is the Blackshark battle rifle you see on the bottom of the drawing, which fires 9mm semi-armor-piercing/high explosive rounds and is fed from a long/extended clip containing 80 rounds of ammunition. It's heavy, but was designed to provide overwhelming supremacy over normal infantry and to also be effective when facing other mechanized infantry. Plus, the added strength from the exoskeleton makes it easy enough to wield. Each of the robotic arms contains a semi-automatic 25mm cannon which is clip-fed with magazines containing 20 rounds each. Other weapons include 10 gauge clip-fed semi-auto shotguns, 7.62mm submachine guns, 50 caliber pistols, hammer grenades, and more. I would submit the drawing with them, except I have to go soon.

He doesn't have any summons, familiars, doppelgangers, etc, but he does have squadmates he can call on for support. They're professionals who've been working in this business for a while, so they can easily pull off a well-coordinated team combo attack when necessary.

Weaknesses? Well, ideally Captain shouldn't have any. But this is ideally. He's received spec ops training and knows how to handle pretty much any combat situation with years of experience in battle. He also has trained in Capoeira and various Chinese martial arts along with weapons training. He's also relatively smart (actually, many of his comrades wonder why he never chose to leave the military and become a doctor, lawyer, businessman, or any higher-paying occupation rather than remain after his tour of duty was over). In addition, the exoskeleton was designed to have as little flaws as possible, for you don't see weapon developers designing anything with flaws in mind. Any flaws in the design would be discovered through repeated trials with prototypes and use on the battlefield.

Just be creative and as true as possible to the info here and to whatever powers your OC has. If your OC's gonna be destroying him, please do it in as believable a way as possible considering your OC's powers and the Captain's skills. Don't throw reason/realism out the window. Thanks.

And... so apparently, Cap'n did not make the cut for :iconendling:'s tourney, so is now left fighting a stick figure with a heatscythe in :iconlawrenceroybloodwing:'s supplementary tourney. Eh, time for Cap'n to break/shoot something.
